No problems here. I never load min or max, I always load in the middle -
Juts was worried about the non supported barrel. I know not to shoot lead cast. I will get a lone wolf barrel some time down the road. Just didn't want to wait tell then to shot reloads. I already reload for my 1911 and 9mm for my 92fs and lone wolf conversion barrel i have for the 23."Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value."Comment

I load 40 cal for the Glock with the "dreaded" factory unsupported chamber barrel, fast burning powders and heavy bullets(180gr).
I don't load any differently than for my other 40 cals. This doesn't mean that others apprehension about loading for the Glock is wrong, it just means that I haven't encountered the same problems in my guns.
I use Berrys, Rainier or Xtreme 180gr plated flay points with either 4.3gr of Accurate Arms #2 or 4.2gr of Winchester 231. I use Winchester small pistol primers, mixed cases and I seat to 1.125"
I always use a Lee carbide factory crimp die, adjusted to take the flare out of the case mouth and ever so slightly put a tiny amount of crimp on the bullet.
This load combo and procedure works extremely well in my guns, but I make no claims about anyone else's guns, so use the data at your own risk.Comment

I load 180gr lead bullets for my G22 limited gun. I'm shooting major pf and I almost never clean the barrel. Stock barrel. You can shoot lead through stock glock barrels. Anyone who days you can't is just parroting an internet myth. Follow the same safety guidelines you would for loading .40 in any other firearm. Glocks aren't anything special in that regard.Comment

I have a Gen3 Glock24. I also had a Gen2 Glock24. I did not have any issues.
Some people have issues due to lack of mechanical acuity, mental illness, bad brass...
I got one of those push through sizing dies a couple years ago. What an eye opener! Pushing a Glocked .40 case through one and actually feeling the whole casehead being sized by a thin carbide ring allows you to detect flaws in the brass. About 1% of once fired brass feel like you're sizing a ratchet or a harmonica or a corrugated pipe. That is telling. I can see one of those cases letting go if pushed hard.Comment

I use once fired range brass, so I always run my brass through the LEE BULGE BUSTER. It's an extra step, but I don't mind it. Sometimes (maybe one in fifty), I'll come across a case that really needs it. Like J-cat said, you can tell the difference. I load 180gr Xtreme plated RNFP over 4.3gr Bullseye and have never had any issues in stock or wolf barrels. I know I'm not pushing max pressure on the cases.I have a Gen3 Glock24. I have loaded .40 for my Gen 3 G23. The only issues I have had are with resizing some Winchester brass. See http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=911307
I have used IMR SR4756 and Titegroup. Both loaded to mid-range powder charges. Both powders worked fine but Titegroup was much cleaner.Comment

I recently started loading .40 for my glock 22 as well.
I'm using powder coated 180 grain hard cast lead bullets that I cast myself. I know glock says not to shoot cast but I have seen no problems so for. I'm using 4.4 grains of WST. I get about 900FPS I think. They feel much milder than my factory reloads with 165 grain FMJ that are going 1050fps.
BTW the lead bullets are very accurate IME.Comment
