    Die Lock Rings

I want the die lock rings to swap out on the 2 .223 tool heads I have, trimming and reloading. I just want to be able to set the dies and lock them in, so I can switch calibers without the hassle of fine tuning them all the time. Can any one recommend some good lock dies that will fit in the 1050?

I am a huge fan of the Hornady split lock rings & don't see why they wouldn't fit on a blue press

+1 on the Hornady split rings.... I use them often to upgrade the Lee & RCBS lock rings.

I use the horadys on my 1050... Unfortunently on the trimmer you still have to use the dillon lock ring on the bottom of the tool head to get better air flow threw the trim die... The hornadys are just to big

            Hornady Split Lock Rings

I also own a few dies that have the Lee lock rings. I do not like these at all. They need constant readjustment and wiggle too much in my opinion.

I use either Hornady or Lyman lock rings. Mostly Hornady as you can use a wrench to tighten them down.

Hornady lock rings on all my dies, the best.

I've got some RCBS ones like the Hornady lock rings but without the flats.

Hornady lock rings are great, but on a Lee classic turret they tend to bump into one another because spacing is tight on the turret head. If the would have just slightly rounded the corners they would work perfectly every time. I typically can get two dies on opposite sides of the turret locked down with the Hornday lock rings and the others I have to use the small lock rings that come with the dies.
