Using IMR 4227 in 50 Beowulf?

I currently am using Alliant 2400 for my Beowulf loads but I am down to just over a pound and Alliant powder is hard (for me) to get. I have a good supply on hand of IMR 4227 that I use for my 300 BLK and I see IMR 4227 is listed on AA website but not for the bullet I am using.
Anyone using IMR 4227 with 335gr Rainier plated bullets? I might have to give AA a call.

Where are you getting the bullets from? I have not been able to find them?

They are backorderable through Midway. It took 2.5 months for me to get them. I was using 300gr Hornady FTX and 300gr Speer Deep Curls to hold me over.
I ordered the FMJ bullets but I think I will try the HP next time.

Have you tried casting? I'm casting and loading 460's with lil gun...

Also hornady 9th shows for a 350 grain bullet 37.3-43.9 max 1500-1800 fps


What's your cost per loaded round

I do not cast. I have a friend that tries to get me into it but I resist. With two teenagers in the house (one is a girl) I don't have a lot of time anymore.
I am not sure what my price per round is. Its way cheaper than factory that's for sure.

With casting I'm down to .22 cents per round... I will admit casting SUCKS but if you own a beo you should get into it! The amount of money you will save is worth it...
