    hercules unique rifle powder question.

I reload 45 acp and someone recently gave me a box of powder with some old but unopened hercules unique rifle powder. I know that the company is now alliant and they still offer the powder but is this the same powder? I see people using it for 45 acp loads and would like to use it for that if possible.. heres a pic

If it doesn't smell sour & no rust in the can it's good.

            That can is way cool!

Load away, it is still good to go as long as it looks good.

It was made to shoot so do it now.

Lucky you! Save the can for decoration sake or you may be able to sell it to someone who collects them. Unique is a good powder for .45acp since it's a medium burn powder.
