The reason to reload

I took the Ruger No 1 (270 win) out to test some more loads and this gives an idea of what handloading with just normal care to size the brass to your chamber, control powder weight and overall length to fit your rifle can do.

The top 2 groups are with Factory Remington 150 grain Coreloct rounds and the other three groups are with my handloads using the 130 grain Barnes TSX and H4350 powder.

I've had my best groups w/ the 130g TTSX using IMR 4831. Haven't got to use H4350 yet...
