Depends on how much you want to spend.

$28 Bullet Feeder on the cheap
First of all, I want to thank GWhis on ARFCOM for helping me put this together. He gave me the tube sizes and some insight which helped a lot and eliminated some trial and error.I only made this for

Do yourself a favor and get the Dillon unit. It works very well.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Unless I am mistaken, they don't and I believe I read in my literature somewhere that Dillon recommends that one not be used in order to encourage the operator to inspect the powder load as the bullets are placed in the casing...... in spite of this I plan to get a Mr. Bullet Feeder for my 1050 some day, after I am more familiar/comfortable with it.

I got a 1050 for 9mm and had to use it without a bullet feeder for 5 months or so while I waited for my Mr. Bulletfeeder to be built. It is a great bullet feeder and Rick was a pleasure to deal with. This was before they were made by an outside company. I still watch the powder on every round, even though I use the bullet feeder. I also watch the powder on every round on my dillon 550, assuming I can see in the case neck.

The bullet feeder isn't a huge amount faster than feeding by hand, but it is much easier and smoother. I can just watch the powder level and crank em out. It is well worth having one. I can load 100 rounds of 9mm in 3 minutes on the 1050 if I go fast. I usually go slower as to not get tired so fast.
