Selling/shipping ammo

When you sell handgun ammo and have to ship it, how do you verify guys if the buyer is 21? Do we have a legal responsibility to verify?

You can't really, just have to put it out there that they must be 21. After that its in their hands.

I could be wrong and if I am Im sure somebody will come along and spew until their heart desires.

Thanks, got it resolved, the buyer was nice enough to shoot me a pic of his ID. Now a non issue.

Still a question for future sales, so if anyone else has run into this, what did you do?
