Wondering how accurate and consistent your powder throws are with a Dillon progressive.
Been loading up some 9mm on my 550B and decided to check out the consistency on my new GemPro 250 digital scale.
I've loaded around 750 rounds so far and shot about 300 of them.
Recipe is 4 grains of Bullseye pushing a 124 grain Extreme RN bullet.
I filled up about 25-30 cases and measured each one, getting results from 4.02-4.08 grains.
This is a lot more consistent than I expected, so I'm wondering if this holds true for rifle rounds as I'm about to load up some .223 and .308.
To be honest, this impressed the heck out of me. I sort of figured that since the Dillon dispenses by volume that the range would be .5 of a grain or so, which is fine for plinking but scaled up to .308 volumes, not that great.
What are you folks getting with your Dillon progressives, particularly for larger throws such as for a .308????
