    Lyman E-ZEE case trimmer question

I was trimming 308 cases with this trimmer tonight and couldn't get under 2.009-2.011 with a suggested trim to length of 2.005. I was using the drill attachment and rcbs shell holder. Guide rod was all the way in the cutting tool.

223 brass was a little better, averaging .002-.003 longer than trim to length.

Is there any way to fix this? Should I grind down the guide rod a few thousands or just leave it as is? I want to try to avoid trimming after every firing.

If you don't check trim before your loads, you are just asking for trouble.

    Get used to it.

Lee Zip Trim here, takes time but I know it's done right.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".
