My Korean KA72 30.06 does that also. I use a small punch to go through the flash hole to knock the primer out the rest of the way.

The bad thing about those primers is that once they are stretched out like that it is a major pain to get the case out of the press. Sometime you need to force the case out of the press.

Yeah, PSD is the military brass for PMC and they are known to have very overdone crimps as well as an offset flash hole on many of them which doesn't aid in decapping. The sealant is just a lacquer and shouldn't cause any noticeable resistance when popping out primers.

Maybe PSD stands for Primer Stress Disorder

I've had my RCBS decap pin push right through some crimped primers.

I've had that happen also, I just toss them if the primer doesn't pop out.

Enfield I keep on hand a Lee decapping rod and base that I purchased separately just for that "special occasion" decapping from hell. Cheap but effective way. I also keep a small ball peen hammer.

I like that idea, easy and effective.
