L.C. match is good brass,no primer crimp.LC82 would have been loaded with the 173gr military match bullet to make m118 ammo.

Thanks for the reply. The reason why I ask is that these have a cannelure type ribbing near the head that I haven't seen before.

I use it to reload for my practice in M-1A. I reload it 5 times and I throw it away. People reload more than that, but I have plenty of brass and don't want to risk anything when I shoot. I love that brass. Mine are pretty much all LC 93 Match..

I use LC Match 68-72 and it is great stuff.

The case walls are so thick in that area it doesn't pose a risk of failure. On a 9mm case, I have found the case will fail at the cannelure after 24 reloads.

Also, these cases have the least capacity of almost any 308. So don't use Hodgdon's data. Use Sierra's data instead.

Internal capacity is right around the same as FC brass. I actually did a water test with them about a month ago.

the case head will fail if your not paying attention,usually around7reloads and thats alot.
I have made a feeler gauge from a paper clip it has a small90 degree bend within sharpened point.if the guage sticks ,the brass is scraped.
