This is the second or third time that my firearms manipulation has been questioned as the culprit. I have tried many times to explain that this is a brand specific problem as my weapons fire every other type of ammo without issue. Three times a week to a private gun club and numerous matches prove that every other ammo brand, including my own hand loads function fine.....

My questions have been answered. I took 50 of the WIN brass that I had primed and loaded them up with my recipe and headed off to the range. I also took the before mentioned box of WIN and a buddy had yet another box.
All of my WIN hand loads functioned fine without issue. All 50 went down the pipe and on target and ran well.
I loaded up 10 out of my questionable factory rounds and could not cycle the mag without 2 malfunctions. I did this just to make sure nothing had changed with my guns after they cycled my hand loads fine. I still had the same failure rate and problem with the factory ammo.
I then shot 20 of my friends factory WIN white box and they all functioned without fail.
Last we fed his Glock my factory ammo and he had 2 failures in 20 rounds.
So I believe I got 2 bad boxes at separate times. Probably just a coincidence, but it had me concerned as I didn’t want to use the brass if it was the problem in the equation.
I am now confident I can use all of my WIN brass for reloading without issue!!!!
I also received a PM stating that the sender had a similar problem and WIN sent him a shipping label and provided him 2 replacement boxes for his trouble. I had that in the back of my mind, but we ended up using the offending box for plinking and malfunction practice until it was gone…..
