Magnum brass tutorial

Since I was loading, I thought make a video demonstrating some loading techniques for magnum caliber rifles and how to extend brass life. Hopefully this tutorial will be of some use to members.

In your video, you set your die to touch the shell holder, then unscrew a full turn (5:50'ish into video). Is there a reason you unscrew them? It is my understanding that RCBS dies are screwed in about 1/4 turn (non-carbide) once they contact the shell holder?

Just old habit I guess. I do a full turn back on any set I'm using, be it Lee, RCBS, CH,. I'd rather it size too little than too much, I can always crank it down.

Unscrewing the die ensures you don't size the whole case down, just the neck/shoulder area if needed. Heck, I've even partially sized necks just enough to hold bullets in place.
