How about a grinder stand? Strong, cheap, and takes up a very small space:

Or maybe even:
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

This would work in a crunch. Don't buy it from those toolbags though.NRA Life MemberComment

Do not get these folding work benches. I first started off with one of these and i was miserable reloading for many years. While it worked, it was always jiggling and moving around. Very unstable platforms cause slow reloading.
I then made my own workbench out of wood and mounted it to the wall for support. While that was light years ahead of the black and decker bench. It still sucked and jiggled. I then moved to a bigger house and garage and could buy a real work bench. I bought a 6 foot heavy solid wood top metal leg bench from sams club. They hve the best deal for a real heavy duty bench. The press no longer moves around while loading. You can crank way rounds out faster and more accurately. Spend the money on the best and heaviest bench you can afford.
Don't waste money on anything less than a heavy bench. And drill into it and use bolts.

Google Seville Classics commercial workbench.
Thats the one sams sells. Very good reviews from a lot of reloaders. My buddy had one and highly rec it.
No regrets except I wish I had the space for another. My table is now alot smaller that I have my xl650 and mini mill x2 mounted on it.
Edit....
This may fit your needs for space limitation. Smallest one they sell that still looks solidLast edited by Spyduh; 03-14-2014, 2:37 PM.Don't you know the rule?? Never open the safe in front of the wife!!!Comment

I use the black & decker bench to reload...but as others have said it is a last resort. i don't plan on using it once i move out. it is reliable and sturdy, just make sure you get one of the heavy duty ones. the 550lbs model is good (i think this is the one i have).
edit:
oh, and don't need to buy it new. find one on craigslist!Comment

I personally mounted my Lee Classic Turret Press to a piece of wood and then use c-clamps to mount it to a table. When I am done with it, I loosen the c-claps and put it all in my closet. Has worked great for me and my usages. Also did the same with my Lee Shotgun Press except have that mounted to a 2x4.

HFT setuup may suit me well! Thanks for pointing that out.You could try this if space is at a premium ,http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/...3/10130691.jpg
or , http://www.atgstores.com/work-benche...Q&gclsrc=aw.ds

Mount press to 3/4" plywood deck , clamp board to top of any of these.
Won't be as stable as a full size bench but works short term till you find more space.Comment

I have a anti-static mat over the table currently. Remember, I'm in bay area where we teach static in preschool ;-)Comment

I used this but put 1/2" pine boards across the top and stained it and made it look pretty. After years it still works great. For Maximum Portability.. go smaller. I have used one of these and think I am going to reuse it this season (reloading at the range), while I continue to play with 300blackout rounds.
The Blackand decker workmate is very solid.. mounts nice and easy, multipurposer, just add some weight to the bottom for more stability.
