    Experiment SS wet tumble

..so my brother was a mechanic and I remembered his hands always being grubby. Oil and grease all up under his nails, just looked like dirty grimy hands. Well at his shop the used "orange goop" and it got his hands pretty darn clean, not completely but it was a lot better than before. I'm pretty sure you guys already know what I did with it so here are my results..

1st batch was a lb of 9mm in 2lbs of media, a 9mm shot of lime shine and a 1 second squirt of "orange goop" tumbled for 2 hours with HB rock tumbler. Picture was taken with natural sunlight.

2nd batch was the same but this time 2lbs of 9mm. Picture taken under led lights. The 1lb came out a little bit shinier but I'm pretty sure if the picture was taken with natural sunlight it would of came out the same.

    And here's the goop

Side notes: the goop doesn't foam up like dish soap bit seems to do the same job.

The orange goop is a lot more expensive than regular dish soap.

Citric acid does the shine. Soap does the cleaning. Orange goop has both in it but, are the proportions optimal?

Good question..I'll try some with just the goop and no lime shine. Yes, it is more expensive but then again it's just an experiment.

Yes, otherwise the solution will acid etch your brass. I forgot the soap one. The cases came out a dull color and rough. They were hard to size.
