    Case trimmer mod

I modified my case trimmer by cutting off the hand crank and putting a socket on the shaft then chucking a 1/4 " square drive in a cordless, using it to spin the trimmer.
    I trimmed 100 .308's in about 6 minutes
A 14mm socket fit the shaft of the trimmer snug enough to be tapped on with a hammer

        What brand?

I have the Lee hand crank trimmer die and while it's not that bad, I couldn't help but think it a simple matter to make a drill adapter for it (are you reading this Lee?). I do appreciate the fact that you can use the same cutter handle for different caliber dies... back to my point, Lee is good but slow if reloading higher volumes like I do with .223. What brand trimmer do you have? I would like to try the same mod...
        Thanks!

Lyman makes a power adapter for this trimmer so if buying this trimmer I would just buy the combo kit and get both manual and power cutting arbors. The power arbor alone is ~$20

A couple of people here made an automated cutter for the Lee trim die. Search for the thread, it was from last year.

I did a search and found it, thanks for the pointer. Kudos to the members that figured it out but their solution looks a bit more involved than what i was looking for. I have more money than time so I'm going to try the OP's solution with the Lyman unit and power adapter. I originally read this post while I was at work and the pictures were blocked by the company server so thank you for answering my obvious question, really appreciate it!

For those who would still want to be able to use the handle
