Hello, I been looking for list of die diameters by caliber and manufacture. During the depriming and resizing, I'd like to separate out the resizing in to a two stages, meaning I want to resize halfway to my target diameter, then all the way to the target diameter. I use carbide dies, but the die still grabs the case hard enough to make the press rattle a good amount, which causes the progressive reloader to malfunction. If use case lube it helps a lot but it is still drags every so many cases. I know that the .38 super auto spec is about .028 larger than 9mm luger, and I wanted to see if there were any other sizes I could use. Thanks CGers, -Andrew-

9mm should be a walk in the park using carbide dies without case lube.
You may want to consider re-mounting the press onto a very sturdy surface…
I got mine mounting to a tank of a table and even with the toughest resizing process I don’t get any problems.ExtremeX -
Since you are using different cases, you might have set the sizer for one manufacturer, and when you size a different manufacturer's cases, you may be sizing too far down and into the case webbing area. If so, you will see a shiny ring where the sizer stopped, or even a little bit of shaved brass where the sizer stopped.Comment

I am using a Hornady set. The instruction say touch the bottom of the die to the shell plate at maximum ram travel. Am I correct in thinking, that the resizing die has one ring that reforms the case to a straight wall of the minimum diameter?
