Powder purchase or dillon 650 - Poll

So do I spend the money on powders that are pretty much unfindable at the moment or do I go buy a press. Finding some powders here and there but prices are up there and no room to wiggle. Or do I order a new press which I've been wanting to do for a while now and got the go ahead.

Get the press. It is easier to come up with money for powder than it is for a new press.

Buy the press, buy some bullets, buy some primers and then when the powder you want is available buy it and start loading.

Get the press once u get that you have to get powder so there's no excuse to back out

Not sure what your reloading but a lot of stick powders have issue metering on dillon presses. Actually it would be almost all progressive presses (unless your loading pistols then nevermind).
I'd get the powder first. You need more then just the press to start loading. You didn't say if you had scales, case trimmers, etc etc. All the little things you'll need to reload which adds up fast. with the way powders are now, I'd get that first, then primer. Everything else is easy to get.

I have a 550 but I want to get a 650. And keep my 550 for rifle. Seems like it took forever the other day to loads some 380 for practice. But powder wise I have some( 3lbs) but have a chance to get 8lb jugs in a group buy.
