i'm new to casting and bought lee 358-158-rf mold. my first 100 or so i loaded a midrange load in 38 special for my #686. all was fine ,bullets looked nice & all went bang. this was a year ago?
my new recipie is for .357 powder coated which i had to size and am using 6.5 gr. autocomp (only loaded a few as this is listed as a starting load) & spp crimped at the canalure.
out of curiosity i went to weigh some of the non powdercoated bullets for weight comparison. i found my bullet weight ranged from about 165 to 169 grains. they don't seem out of round or deformed but i got too much lead in there
, whats up with that?
