Got an older RCBS Partner gratis, shell holders?

So an old friend sent me a gratis-RCBS Partner, as he had no use for it, and I am looking to get some backup equipment to reload the calibers I currently do on my XL 650, just in case I have a failure on the XL 650 for a short time... (and for $14 for 2 shell holders it is also peace-of-mind) I would like to get a bolt-action .308, so I will be using this for the mainly, but you never can have too many backups, especially in the calibers you shoot the hell-out-of. This will be great to work up new loads, and tinker a lot easier with OAL when shot over my chrono too!

Are all RCBS single-stage shell holders the same (work with all single stage RCBS presses)?

Are they all comparable (with say Lee shell Holders, and Hornady for single stage presses)? I can find the cross-reference part numbers for each MFR, so I can order the right part if they are.

Yes, for the most part shell holders are a standard fit. Each company has it's pwn numbering system as to cartridge size. Yes, the Lee shell holders will work in the partner press. Keep in mind the Lee press shell holders not the ones for the priming tool. They cost less also.

Is there a detent in them for a pin when seated, or to make them face a bit to the left?

I seem to recall a spring-steel clip/wire around the place where they seat, or is it just a spring loaded holder, as I didn't look very well(, and I am at work, while it is at home)?

Most button style holders are a universal fit in the press. -- but some have different size center holes.
Usually does not matter except if you prime on the press.
