Differences between RCBS presses

What are the diferences between the RCBS JR2 and the RC II Rockchucker reloading press.

Will the primer tubes and primer arm work on both, primer catch tray,...?

Looking to complete the RC II press that I have, need the primer arm, tube, and tray, + who knows what else.

the differences to me is the angle in which you need to articulate the handle through

the jr2 kind of starts out at around a 80 deg angle so the full articulation ends up near the floor the rockchucker starts out at like a 90 deg so it ends up not as low also its off to the side as opposed to in the dead center of the jr2

to me they get the job done and are sturdy and i would take either i have a jr2 and a spartan that has a wacky angle

they use the same littte spring loaded primer arm and feeder arangement if you chose to use it

The rock crusher is a double linkaged arm that makes it easier to size large rifle and magnums. They use the same primer arm. save yourself some trouble and get the hand priming tool. Much faster, easier too.

I learned on a Rockchucker and now use a JR. The JR has less leverage but is better IMO for loading pistol.
If you get the auto priming system for the RCBS presses (with the primer tubes and all) I find that it works just as well as the hand priming tool. Not to mention cheaper.
Call RCBS and tell them that you love their press and want to add the auto prime setup. They are the type of company that might just send you the parts for free.

RC is supposed to be strong enough to swage if you were so inclined.

The RS/JR theoretically is too weak and can break if you try it for that.

I like that the RS/JR is ambidextrous so you can switch hands on the fly on the press arm if you were so inclined.

I have an old reloader special. Works awesome but the handle sticks out a bit while walking by and I knock into it I often. Rock crusher the handle is off to the side and non issue I may have to pick one up for this reason alone. But that means more $$$$

RCBS makes an effort to assure alignment in design, they also maintain there is cam over without distinguishing the difference between a cam over press and a press that does not cam over. I have Rock Chucker presses, none of my Rock Chuckers cam over, they all jam over, or cram over , or they just lock up. And then I ask: What does that do for my alignment, ALIGNMENT? I use a case in the shell holder.

It is possible to build a tool for checking alignment, or I should say alignment tools exist that requires a small amount of work.
