Ran about 100 rounds with these componets. Some what pleased. Does anyone out there have a recipe they can share so I can compare with what I got going on.

    Shooting

    powder: hp-38
Primer: Winchester large pistol primer (WLP)
Brass: mixed once fire and range pickups
    xtreme: 124gr copper plated.

    powder @ 4.4 gr
Forgot the other specs will sent them ouot when I get to my notes.

are you sure you are using Large Pistol Primers with a 9mm ?
    I don't think its possible

Also know that HP-38 and Winchester 231 are the same powder, your reloading book may have it listed

maybe he's shooting 9x25 Dillon that needs large primer.... '9mm' is not a caliber, it's the diameter of the bullet.

I shoot those same bullets out of a glock 19 with Titegroup, which is also a fast burning powder like hp38.

Have you checked hodgon's website for their load data?

Also keep in mind that since these are plated bullets and not full metal jacket, which means that they aren't meant to be fired at the same velocities. Xtreme says on their website:

            - Our Copper Plated Bullets can be run at mid-range jacketed velocities or higher end lead velocities. We do not recommend velocities over 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and only a light taper crimp.
Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point products for superior accuracy. We do not recommend velocities over 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and only a light taper crimp.

Not sure if you're looking for other hp-38 loads or?

I'm using Xtreme 124 plated JHP over 3.9 gr VV N320, 1.120 oal, Federal match primer (because that's what I could find in stock

                I use 4.3 gr of HP-38, at 1.125.
