I know that Winchester does. I also think that Federal, Remington and PMC makes a lead free version also.

Right now I can only think of 140 and 155gr Barnes XPB.

Are you going to use your handgun to hunt? or are you taking it as a back up side arm?

These are made by Corbon using Barnes XPB bullets.

Frangible bullets aren't certified for taking big game. Remember that if you carry a sidearm while taking big game it has to be lead free too. There are more ammo manufacturers at this link.

As a backup, there are mountain lion where I hunt pig, and badgers where I deer hunt.

Only if your not hunting big game or non-game birds/mammals. If your just hiking you can have lead ammo on you for self defense.

                            (1) Except as otherwise provided, it is unlawful to possess any projectile containing lead in excess of the amount permitted in subsection 353(h) and a firearm capable of firing the projectile while taking or attempting to take any big game within the area described in subsection 353(h). (f) Methods of take within the California condor range. Except as otherwise provided, it is unlawful to use or possess projectiles containing more than one percent lead by weight while taking or attempting to take any nongame birds or nongame mammals in those areas described in Section 3004.5, Fish and Game Code.
Only small game mammals/birds maybe taken with lead ammo.

So what if you are you're using a shot gun with lead free slugs/buckshot for deer and want to hunt small game? Answer: Better have lead free shot.

I used frangible, lead free ammo in .40 S&W from International Cartridge Corporation. Used it for Clint Smith's class which he requires frangile, lead free.

World leaders in lead-free and frangible ammunition. Available in pistol, rifle, and shotgun calibers. Safe, reliable, and lead-free.

The ammo, though relatively light, worked great in my Glock 22. No feeding issues.
