You guys may already know this, but a fantastic brass cleaner is Citric acid. You can buy it at health food stores. Two teaspoons per quart of very hot water is all that is needed and in a minute or so the brass is cleaner than you can imagine. Rinse it with clean water and tumble for 30 minutes and you will swear it is new brass. It does not attack the metal but don't soak it for hours as it is clean very fast. Enjoy! Rod
