As the title described. Using Longshot powder and will be using it for 9mm. It was the only powder my local shop had, he said it was ok. Will be using it for general plinking. The only reason I got 115 gr jhp bullets was again, that was the only brass bullets they had. Im just testing out my lee single stage press. My question is, I was looking at the Hodgon powder website and they show data for 115 gr rn.....would I be ok using this formula to start with or is a jhp a whole different animal?

Using Longshot and jhp 9mm
Tags: None -
I've used longshot in my 45acp loads.. Meters very well and burns clean... You shouldnt have problems with jhp vs. fmj but ck oal to confirm fit in chamber... I am using hs-6 in my 9mm and 45acp and both are gtg also... Both burn clean and meter well... I like the way both powders fill the case over 50% on a standard charge,,,, so a double charge fills case to overflowing and is very noticeable if it ever happens... I also bought these powders in the drought and am happy with them !!!... Cheers...Comment
