    Powder

I am in need of powder. I live in San Diego, and need reloading powder for 5.56 and 54R. I had been using IMR4895. At this point I will use anything that works.

Anyone have a line on varget or something like it that will offer acceptable performance?

Any guess on when powder will not be as common as a Unicorn fart? Ammo is becoming more common. Logic would dictate that supplies would follow.

If you ever stop by the Temeucla area:
Right next to Karvision is a place called http://westcoastammo.com/
      41892 Enterprise Cir S
      Temecula, CA 92590

They only sell ammo, reloading equipment, and reloading supplies.

They were the only ones in town that I could preorder powder/primers/etc from, and seemed to still be getting power in. Across Winchester from them is http://www.faitharmory.com/, about one block closer to the freeway. I went in last week and they had mosre powder than they have in a year.

I am sure you can find some locally, but if you are in dire need and happen to be driving though Temecula... these two are pretty good. Half-way (half-block) between both of them is another place called Steelwater Firearms and they sometimes have reloading supplies.

Powder Valley posts on their Facebook page whenever they get new stuff in, which isn't as often as you would hope.

Varget's a long shot, just to warn you, it's very popular.

Well I will wait for powder valley. I am under the delusion that I will reload my Yogo 7.62 berdan cases. They carry the primers. I just have to wait until they get powder. combine the hazmat fee and make it worth it.

          Edit: added them on facebook.
