    38 Carbide Dies

    Good Morning...

OK.. I got a set of RCBS 38 Carbide dies in a trade. I had just started to use them, and now I have a issue with the pin getting stuck in the case, and being pulled out. Do I have the pin to far down, or ???

I have been able to get it out each time, but I am not looking to be doing that all the time. I think that I have fixed it, currently being used and not falling out. So if any one could put some light on it, that would help..

The pin should just knock the primer out, and should be good and tight in the die. Since I tumble my brass with the primers out, I use a universal de-capping die. Merry Christmas.

You might also trim the diam. of the pin by a thousand or so.

Pin should only be sticking out of the die 1/8 -3/16. It may be sticking down to far

Check to see if either the pin or the pin rod is bent or not set straight.
