Need help identifying this round/caliber with foreign headstamp??

Can any of you pros identify this round? It appears to have an arabic type or foreign headstamp. Pictures below (sorry for the awful pictures, Im new to all of this):

I tried to put the actual pictures into my post, but this was the only way I could figure it out.

#1 picture of headstamp (are all the same round)

#2 unknown round next to a ruler

#3 unknown round (left) along side a 7.62 x 39mm round (right) for comparison

#4 unknown round (top) with 7.62 x 39mm round (bottom) with a ruler

I thought it might be a .308/7.62x51 round.....I think?

Most likely 7.5mm French ammo, made by Egyptian.

looks like 7.5 French, probably Syrian, as they used them. that other round you're comparing doesn't look like a 7.62x39 though. I have one here that's a good 1/2 inch shorter than the one you show.

Thanks thai562 for the link and the info. Looks like the same ammo that I was trying to ID, Syrian made.

Thanks knucklehead0202. It appears that this is Syrian 7.5x54mm ammo. Apparently horrible stuff. And thanks for the correction....round in the comparison pic is NOT 7.62x39, but in fact 7.62x51/308. Good eye!
