You can throw away empty boxes.
Half empty boxes are the worst.

There's nothing like spending 15 minutes rooting around on all fours, looking for that 50th piece of brass to keep the box perfect.
Other shooters at the range must think we are speed freaks or something.

Those lapua shooters are known for scrounging around to find every last piece, no matter how long it takes.

That's one thing keeping me from building a 6.5x47, I can't imagine ever losing a case that I paid 75 cents for...

I heard that before commercial brass was avilable, those in free states that have a NFA STG44 sturmgewehr had to form the cases from something else, took like 20min each, with a full auto firearm, I'd hate to lose that brass.

Or in the old days before 7.62x39 or 9mmMakarov ammo was easily availableand cheap, I can imagine scrounging up ALL your brass for those guns for those that were lucky enough to have a SKS or a Makarov before the mid 1980's Chinese imports.
