Ammo in a fire?

House a couple streets behind me burned and cooked off the guys ammo he had stored in the garage.
Fire department wouldn't go near it until the 'popping' stopped.
It was the sound of the ammo cooking off that woke me, sounded like South Central L.A.

Im not worried about my ammo or my guns in a fire, my safe can sit in hell for 2 hours and my guns wont even get warm. But what i am scared about is what happens when the fire reaches the lockers where i keep my gunpowder. I have powder for shotgun, rifle, pistol, lots of different powders for different loads, and a large quantity so that i dont have a shortage. I make sure to keep it in the open though, so that no pressure builds up, but rather the powder just burns quick
