I routinely saw (haven't checked lately) ads in Shotgun news selling once fired 9mm brass for about $18 per 1000. This makes it 1.8 cents per piece. I don't think shipping was included, but there's so much 9mm brass out there, I'm a little surprised you have to buy some?

not much, 198 pieces of Winchester White Box 9mm all same head stamp and all only once fired. they have not been cleaned and still have spent primers in them. i was planning on saving them up before selling them or decide to reload them, but the savings in reloading 9mm is pretty slim if you don't have a set up already.

Thanks. That really isn't enough to mess with. If you have 1k or more, it would be worth up to .03 CLEANED, less dirty. I doubt if WWB is worth that much.

WWB brass is fine stuff to reload normal loads. I shoot 9mm with lead bullets and pay for $0.08 per round. That's $0.12 less than what Wal-Mart sells WWB for.

It will reload just fine. My point was that I doubt that uncleaned WWB brass will be worth $30/thousand. With brass scrap prices going haywire, it may already be worth more than that as scrap. Lead is going crazy too.

Market will dictate

2-3 cents minimum. Don't cheap sell unless you have to. Same with all brass now. Ammo doubled in the past 4 yrs. So has brass. Just my .02-.03 worth.

$25/thousand for brass 9mm casings = $0.025 per casing
~$1.50/pound for scrap brass (source) @ ~100 casings per pound = $0.015 per casing
