Anybody use Ammoland 9mm case?

I was reloading 9mm last night. I quickly check inside each case to check if there are any cleaning media inside.

I noticed that Ammoland brass have a sleeve inside the case. I caustiously segragated those brass, thinking it might have higher pressures with the same charge.

Anybody notice this? Anybody use these brass with good results?

If so... then yes I would expect higher pressures from the same powder charge in "normal" brass.

It is a good thing you inspected your brass.... I can't say that I would have noticed. Although I sort by headstamp anyhow.

I saw that on some of mine as well. I just got my chronograph so I have to see if the brass sleeve deal changes things. I did place them in a different container just to be safe.

Yes, it is exactly like on the pic. I have separated all Ammoland cases since they have that sleeve. I dialed in my load using regular brass (i.e. FC, PMC, WIN, etc.) I think that sleeve can raise the pressure, that's some significant space being taken up by that sleeve. Thanks.

I picked up some of just this weekend while picking up my brass. It was only a half dozen or so, so I tossed them in with my the rest of my scrap brass.

I've seen the same kind of deal in .45 as well. I just scrap them. I'm not so short on brass as to make it worth debugging them.

I wonder if someone did not use the correct tool to make the brass? So it is actually a deformed piece of brass?? It would be way to much of a hassle, if you have a lathe you could turn them.. Now, again would you want to , or take the time.

they probably do that so they can use less powder. but brass is probably just as expensive. That is just my guess.

My bet is to prevent bulge.
