Looks like it came out of a CETME-pattern rifle with the black carbon streaks running along it. Those plastic practice rounds are good and maybe even worth it at 100yd if you don't reload.

BTW the black streaks on the plastic casing came from relief cuts from the chamber of the rifle. Suppose to aid in extraction if the ammo was a bit dirty. I believe old model HK's 91 and 93 supposedly have those cuts.

they are quite noisy. no kick at all though. i had my girlfriend shoot them out of my ruger scout before shooting real ammo. they also throw out one hell of a fireball!
