Pickin up brass at the range and see someone shot a hundred or so of these 30-06 and under the table i find 2 un fired. Look at em and think damn thats a big primer. Well compaied em to a large rifle and definitely bigger. Google fu has failed me. What the heck is it? Next to a 308 rd

Idk if its berdan or not. I dont have a 30-06 die set so they just got bagged and tagged

If you look at a fired one, and shine a light down the brass, you'll probably see two flash holes and not one. That = Berden. Reloading them will be a giant pain.

99.9% chance those were corrosive too although there are a few Berdan primed brass that are not corrosive.

Looks like a Barnaul headstamp, probably a 'Golden Bear' brand, check it with a magnet, most likely a brass plated steel casing.

It is possible to reload if it is Berdan copper washed or brass washed steel case but it is so much of a pain, it is not worth it for most reloaders. The only Berdan I would consider reloading would be my Swiss GP11 brass. Quality stuff, too bad it is Berdan.

It is likely a .250 or .254 berdan -- and you are not likely to find that diameter of berdan available -- RWS 6000 or 6504
