There are some who say VV340 is wonderful in 45acp. I plan on trying it out as soon as I can get some

          VV 340

I've been using it exclusively for 45 ACP for a few years now. It has features I love, including being very clean burning, and being bulky enough that it would be tough to double charge. I use cast bullets, from my Lee molds or Lyman molds. It is a little more expensive than other powders, but the safety factor alone of its bulk makes it worthwhile to me.
