    Reloading Classes

Turners is going to start hosting reloading classes at some of their stores. The classes will be taught using the Dillion 550 system and focus on reloading pistol ammo for now.

Reloading is not something you really need classes for. I just read my Lyman manual, the die instructions, and online forums. That being said, classes might be fun for the social aspect of getting to hang out with a bunch of reloaders.

The reloading club clinics are expanding all over the state, will almost certainly be cheaper, and also provide membership in the club for group buys and other future perks. Plus, there's usually a lunch grilled to order and the awesomeness of getting to know some of your fellow Calgunners!

Just another option for those looking to get into reloading...

Now if Turner's would get some decent stock of components at a decent price, that would be a boon!

Is it just me or is teaching a beginners class on a 550 a little overkill? Meh... Probably just me.

yeah, i don't know why turners wants to hold classes if they aren't going to start selling components and tools
.it would be great if they did.

OMG - I can't believe the FUD that we'll see in that class....

"If you do that, you'll shoot your eye out.."

Seriously, I've never, EVER, heard more FUD than at a Turners counter. And DAMN are they sure of themselves.

              .

Nothing wrong with strating on a 550 you can set it up for single stage easily.

                    Ok...
It would take a long time to do 1000 9 on a 550 running it as a single stage.....
