New To TiteGroup 9mm

Been using Bullseye forever and obtained some Titegroup recently. From what I can tell, the loads are almost identical. TG using .1 to .2 less depending on bullet, OAL, etc.

I'm thinking of starting the TG as follows with a 1.125 OAL.....

FMJ 4.4

Berry's Plated 4.2

Use will be for plinking/practice.

Are these reasonable starting points for a Kimber Target II, Beretta M9 and Sig 226??

I have been running TiteGroup for over 15 years. For 9mm I use Bear Creek 125 TC moly on top of 4.0 grains at 1.100" OAL or Montana Gold JHP. TiteGroup is a little smoky with moly, but the price is right. Goes about 1,150 FPS out my G17's with BarSto barrels. Plenty accurate enough for USPSA or Steel Challenge.

I usually run mine at 1.13 with 4.0-4.1 gr. I think a few others use this same load. But as always, start lower and work your way up

I've been using 4.0 grains of Titegroup for Berry's 115 grain plated set at 1.130" for a Taurus PT92

I recently got TG as well. Any suggestions running Xtreme 124 JHP?

The Lee manual doesn't list a TG charge for 124 grain HP, but shows 4.1 (1069 fps) to 4.4 grains (1136 fps) for 125 grain jacketed.

115 gr., xtreme over 4.1 gr. nice and mild. I use it in my .38, 9mm and .45 acp loads.

CAREFUL...
TG goes from functioning to kaboom within a half grain. If youre loading near the top of power...and you get a case that's too long, the crimp will be tighter and possibly ruin your day.

a few specs of tumbling media stuck in the case... will ruin your day.

Lead is very forgiving
plated is less so
jacketed will be more sensitive to pressures

In Sig p226 and G17...

3.8gr makes minor with xtreme and berrys 124.
3.4gr makes minor with lead 147.

stay away from 4.0 gr unless youve got 115s.

Xtreme bullets are plated like Berry's. I always load toward the low end or middle at most for my auto's, because excess hand abuse and wear and tear on your gun is not my idea of a good time...unless the .44 Mag. or .454 come out of the safe.

I love 3.9gr pushing a 115gr extreme plated with a Magnum Primer. I use Magnum primers since it seems to burn the TG cleaner.
