    XL-650 shipped to Dillon

My 2005 XL-650 is headed back to Dillon for a overhaul and to fix the casefeeder assembly. Would guess around 60,000 rounds have been loaded by her.

    Chief,

What's the procedure for sending a press back to them? The reason I am asking is my friend just bought a used 550 after seeing my setup. He asked me to come over and help him get it setup and it has been sitting for a long time and the ram is hard to move. We sprayed some CLP on it and worked it a bit, but it is still nothing like mine. I was going to call and check on how to send it back for a check up but haven't done it yet.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

We had been replacing parts on the frame mounted casefeed assembly, still could not get it work. Lee at Dillon gave me an RMA number and told me to ship it to them. Boxed the press up UPS charged $54.10 to ship, will there on Friday.

Sent my 20 year olf 550B back to them. This was during the craziness earlier this year when orders were taking 4-6 weeks to process.

It came back to me within 10 days. All shiny and looking like brand new. As usual, they tossed in some free goodies like an empty die holder, large and small powder bars, etc.

        Gotta love Dillon!!!!

Brian - Call or email Dillon and they'll give you an RMA number, then you ship it to them (on your dime) with the RMA number. Mine came back within 10 days.

That was quick. I might just stock up on ammo and send mine back too. It still works fine but an overhaul would be nice.

Funny I called Dillon about an overhaul on a 550b about a year ago. They told me $75.00

Do they pay the freight homebound?
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I paid the shipping cost to Dillon and they picked up the FedEx cost in shipping it back to me.
