    I have the C frame. But I put just enough downstroke force so that when I feel it barely stop, thats when I remove the casing from the die.

    RCBS and Hornady rings are not the same. hornady are split rings that torque down on itself, RCBS rings drive a brass screw into the threading of the die...which i do not like.
