    Anyone ever loaded M193 boolits??

Looking for info from anyone who's loaded m193 bullets in their AR.
I may be able to get a good deal on about 2k of m193 pull downs.

I'd be using H335 and probably some AA2460 too.

From what I can tell, it would seem like I could use similar (if not, the same) load data as with a Hornady 55gr FMJ??

Any input will be much appreciated.

Been using them for years - have some extras for sale now. The H335 is a pretty standard powder for them. Think I used 24 grains.

M193 bullets and M193 are 2 way different rounds.

I just loaded some moch M193 loads. Rem 55gr FMJ, 24.5gr of IMR4895 and H335 with CCI mil spec primers in LC XM fired brass and they worked fine for me this morning. But you can feel power difference in the NATO 5.56 and commercial 223.

        Nice. Thanks guys.

Ya, not really trying to clone a 5.56 m193 round.

I'm mainly just debating on whether or not I should save a little money and get some of these milsurp m193 pull downs.. Or spend a little more and just get some more Hornady 55 FMJ that I'm used to.

I already have 4 different bullets I load my AR with. Hornady 55gr FMJ, 55gr SP, 50gr zmax and 69gr SMKs.

Would prefer to stick to my usual than working up another load, but then I was thinking if these M193's basically load up just like a hornady 55gr FMJs it's not as big of a deal.

A few months ago I wouldn't even be asking and would have bought them already... But (knock on wood) supplies have loosened up a bit and I get to be a little more picky.

Load each bullet (20 rounds) and seat bullets out to say 2.300" if will fit chamber/throat, single load and shoot out to 100-200 yards and see how each one flies to determine bullet accuracy.

              H335, AA2520, BLC2, H322, W748 are all good powders for .223
