    45 ACP recipe

Looking for loading recipe for Berry's 200 Gr FP bullets, using W231 and CCI LPP. I figured I'd go around 5.4 grains, so most specifically I need the OAL.

What powder? The MFG website should give you that OAL w/ a range of powder charges.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

I use 5.7 gr W231 with a WLP. I seat it at 1.245 and crimp at .471. I have had great luck with this load. It gives 840 fps and is very accurate.

If you want to use 5.4 grains of 231, I would load them at 1.205.
230g FP's call for a longer COL and could cause sooting with a shorter, lighter bullet. I went through this recently with 200g FP from xtreme.
