With 279 posts you would think you were smart enough to be able to read and follow the rules.
There is a section for this type of posts and it is NOT here.

Thanks for your help in navigating Calguns. In your 2997 posts, have you always been so rude?

Many, many times to many different people. You? Or do you just post random junk anywhere?

If I am wrong about this then I am sorry and retract what I said. I can be wrong sometimes.

Ive used plastic bang caps for primers
That was with a pen flare gun. Used model rocket engines for the powder, and a nice chunk wedged in the bang cap for the anvil. My first reloads.

You posted in the wrong forum (calguns as a whole). at least half of the ACTIVE posters in ammo and reloading will get their panties twisted if the load data does not specify the exact COAL, or if their scale isn't repeatable to its exact resolution. Much less have to deal with data gaps that are actually meaningful.

MAKING black powder? to be taken seriously by most of calgunners? get real. There are probably 3 active posters here who will admit to doing it, and 5 who admit to thinking about it. And 100 who will prattle on about the dangers, legality, holier-than-thou, yadda yadda.

Though I will say that in general my understanding is that fireworks grade BP is generally not used for firearms, I DO know that BP makers use the base chemicals sourced from fireworks websites.

Wow, guys, why are you making such a big deal? I think it is an interesting post, even if it is more towards fireworks, than firearm reloading, but could be used for launching a projectile. I don't think it is advocating something illegal. It is informative and interesting, and just because you read something doesn't mean you are going to go and do something illegal. So take it easy.

                ^ +1

Nothing illegal about making the stuff, and it's interesting to see that home made can be superior in quality to commercial. Those of us who shoot golfball cannons and tennis ball cannons might find it useful. I found it interesting.
