trimmers that chamfer and deburr

It seems like trimming, chamfering, and deburring all in one step would save a lot of time.

I've found that RCBS and Forster both provide option cutters to do this? Does anyone have experience with either? Are there other trimmers out there that provide the same feature?

I use RCBS 3-way cutters. Once you buy the RCBS cutter, then one or more 3-way cutter at $50/ea you are getting into powered trimmer cost territory.

If I had to do it again, I would have purchased CTS trimmers and ran them in a drill press. They are said to leave a clean cut that does not require chamfer or deburr.

I use the RCBS Trim-pro trimmer with the 3-way cutter. The 3-way cutter is a bear to get adjusted properly. However, once adjusted, it always cuts the same ... and does the chamfering and deburring in the same step.

The 3-way really does work well.

I use a Giraurd and a K&M that both use "V" cutters. I think Loading Hollow trimmers also use "V" cutters. While the Dillion trimmed cuts flat, everyone says that it cuts clean enough to not have to chamfer/debur.

Yes, my Dillon trimmer cuts so clean I do not chamfer/deburr. If you thought not having to C/D is a time saver, wait till your trimmer is mounted on your progressive press!

Forster and RCBS make 3 way cutters for their manual trimmers. I used to use the Forster, but stopped when I started getting inconsistent cuts.

Now I own a Gracey and couldn't be happier. I got the Gracey used and upgraded the motor and blade for under $300.

I also own a CTS for 223 and WFT for 308. While both of them work well, neither of them cut clean enough to skip chamfer/deburr step completely.

what about that new lee deluxe quick trim, it chamfers and deburs as well and price is very reasonable. i think i might be picking one up soon

I have the CTS trimmer for 308 and 223. It is definitely a nice, clean cut. I still do a light chamfer, even when loading boat-tails, it seats the bullet much more nicely. I do skip the deburr with them though.

The Dillon trimmer motor is about as powerful/fast as a trim router.
