    Barnes MatchBurners

im sure these have been used for years, but im curious as to why they are cheaper than the rest and they have a higher BC, for a .308 175g they have a .521 BC pretty dang good. So i guess im asking why the price is low? cheap quality? weights fluctuate a lot? this might be my new go to bullet.

cheaper than the rest of barnes bullets? They are lead core so much cheaper to make than 100% copper or a turned solid.

BC will hinge on nose design, BT design, etc. It's one way those Berger bullets can have such an enormous BC value.

cheaper than SMK 175g and close to Nosler Custom Comp. also far cheeper than Berger 175g. So pretty much cheaper than the rest of the companies making 175g .308 match bullets.

Maybe those ttsx are subsidizing the cost of the match burners
