    winchester primers feed issues

Been loading 30-30 lately and ran out of cci large rifle. Only turners out of every gun shop locally has large rifle in stock, unfortunately all they have is whinchester. So in the middle of making loads of had to start all over again because of new primers. Also decided to switch out to different bullets as well (sierra 150gr flat points)

Anyways.... I noticed these winchester primers feed like crap through my rcbs universal primer arm setup. They don't drop out of the tube very well, and when they finally do they fall into the cup crooked.. very annoying, I never had one bit of problem with the cci primers both in large rifle and small pistol

Anyone have an issue like this?

If your using the feed off a rock chucker check the way the base holding the tube is lineing up with the moveable primer arm you have to adjust it.

I've found CCI to be a tad bigger and harder than other brands. Win's are bottom of the barrel IMO but that does not stop me from buying them. They work fine but they are at the bottom of my list. I just bought 10k of them actually because thats all i could find. Win's actually feed better in my Lee equipment than CCI. Different presses sometimes have preferences.

I'm using 70s rcbs reloader special. Cci feed perfect now the Winchester won't? I even thought about alignment, but as far as I can tell its dead on.

Why do you say Winchester is bottom of barrel? Is it a reloading issue like I'm having, or reliability issue? I figure cci is top mark, what's the next best thing?
