Ok if case length is a few thousandths over max length?

I set my calipers for 1.760" (reloading for 223) and lock it in. I then run cases through it. Any that go, I put them in the go bucket. Any that fail I put them in the trim bucket. When I have enough, I trim all the fails to about 1.750". If you want to play it sage, set the calipers for a thou or two under max. This will reject 100% of the long cases, and some that are not. Definition of a go no-go gauge.
