Hodgdon Titewad for 45 acp experiences?

I found Titewad loading data on the Hodgdon load site for 45 acp which has a very fast burn rate.
Anyone here with experience working up a load based on this Hodgdon data?
I've read older loader experiences that is cycles very well.

I personally wouldn't feel right loading between 2.8 and 3.3 grains in a .45 auto case....doesn't seem like it would occupy enough internal volume to prevent a light load detonation and pressure spike.

Maybe invest in some IMR SR 4756. good medium burn rate. covers most from 9 to .45

Never tried it but I think you can do a lot better with others powders like Bullseye, 231, Clays, wst to name a few...

I have used titewad for my 45acp loads for the past 4 years for practice and in competition. I started with 2.8 but it wouldn't go to slidelock;[200gr-rn&swc-1.225-1.240 OAL];you'll have to find the right combo for you and your gun. I shoot both minor and major loads in my 1911; depending on which division I'm competing in IDPA.

I've thought about trying this, but for such a fast burn I'd go with something around 200 gr. or less in cast. The pressure peak for that stuff is going to be higher then most any other viable alternative and I'd question any use in older guns.

According the hogdgon loading data site, there's a load with a 230gr LRN with an OAL of 1.200.
I've notice my hk45 tends to cycle better between 1.260 and 1.275.
