best dies 4 match brass processing

As the title states, who makes the best dies for processing match brass? I have a Forster Co-ax press on the way and I want to order a set of 3:08 dies.I would also like to order a set of .223 match dies down the road.

I own several names of dies and a coax as well. IMO Redding dies are hands down the best.

I do not own Redding's yet, but that is the choice for my .260 Rem. build.

You will need the die rings. None of the others will work on the co ax.

Great choice on the press for making your match ammo. There is a reason you will never see the co ax being sold as used.

Redding Full length and Neck sizing dies series (C), Redding Competition Micrometer seating die. They come in three die sets. I have found this die combination to be the best set for my 338 Lapua Mag. I don't bump shoulder of case so the s series bushing dies are over kill for me. Plus you still need to neck size as bumping the shoulder makes the throat open. And the bullet slips inside the case. Just full size then neck size, trim to desired length ,clean out side, inside of neck and the primer pocket. Cycle in your rifle and you are ready for the tumbler.. And Ready to load..Good Luck.

Thanks. I already have a Dillon 1050 for my .223 and have a Hornady LNL for everything else. I wanted something I could work my loads up individually vs trying to do them on a progressive. Since I am going to have it I also wanted to dabble in making match ammo to see just how accurate I can get. I already ordered a bunch of the Forster lock rings so that I could choose whichever dies I wanted. Sounds like Redding it is. I have my Giraud on order for both .223 and .308.

I am going to have a bunch of time off coming up soon. I will have tons of stuff to really get into processing match brass. I already started to mess with fire formed brass for each individual rifle a bit.

You will need the die rings. None of the others will work on the co ax.

I've got a Co-Ax and I can use Hornady lock rings too. The Hornady lock rings are not quite as snug in the press as the Forster lock rings, but the press alignment is a "floating" system anyway.

Whidden Gunworks also makes a lock ring for the Co-Ax, but I haven't used them. They also have dies that you could use for your match ammo.

I "saved" 22 dollars by not getting the ultra seater, now I'm planning on getting one...

By being able to select high quality powder, primer, and projo then you can make match ammo. For me, match ammo is about component quality and consistency in the reloading process.

In my case, my process revolves around a single stage since that is how I started my reloading journey. My FL die for 223 is RCBS small base while I use a Forster micrometer seater.

Custom dies cut with the exact same reamer that has cut your custom chamber would be the best.

thanks for the help guys. I ended up going with the widden gunwerks dies. They seem to be very good dies from what I have read.
