I have a bunch of these in 4 calibers. Fun in wheel guns suck in semiautomatic.

That's what I was thinking . How about Bacon grease? It would smell pretty good. Why not One Shot?

It may not react with the hot glue if dryed.

Because if it's performance as a case lube is any indicator, you'll simply glue your mold closed.

There's about a million things I'd use before Hornady One Shot. Bacon Fat might be one of them.

No need to apologize. The hot glue & shot bullets sound interesting and I want to remember to try them once I get my casting and reloading stuff set up at my new residence.

The shot capsules are completely different. They are like little shotshells which many people refer to as "snake shot".

A while back, some people were suggesting that the 38 shotshell was a good home defense option. Please, DO NOT do that!!! The life you save could be your own...

I understand the snake shot idea but, the hot glue might to be tough enough to hold together under rotation.

I use them for home defense all the time. It just depends on what you're defending your home against. Here are a few that were no more than 10' from the house:

Shot shells also work well for BBQ Defense!

Yea, I'm thinking they might work pretty good if they can be loaded hot enough (no pun intended). I can make them, load them up and have the perfect place to test them. I'll just need a reminder to do it and suggestions on how to test them. I figure paper first to see if they stay together and group decently, then maybe drywall, plywood and ?????? Anyone got a line on cheap ballistic gel?

I suppose I should have been a tad bit more specific. I meant against intruders of the human variety...

You could use some water filled gallon milk jugs and wet newspaper to catch the bullets.
