    Discarding extra powder...

I was wondering what yall did with the tiny bits of powder that goes onto the table etc... Those runaway little guys... Do you just pick it back up and throw it back in the bottle.. or do you discard it (in the case it.gets contaminated with dust and stuff)

I know I know lame question but I'd like to know.

All the little spills go into a container and I let the kids throw it a PINCH at a time into the outdoor fire, they love it.

I keep a small plastic trash can half full of water next to my bench. Anything that may have powder or primers goes into the water. About once a month I dump it into the trash.

House vac then when vac is full toss bag into trash can. Not enough powder and it is not contained so it cannot become a problem.

yep, just vacuum it up and toss it, no big deal. I had saved a bunch of powder from various stuff, mostly surplus that i'd pulled down over the coarse of a couple years. I had it in a pretzel barrel and it actually started trying to cook off! I noticed the barrel had a reddish tinge so I took it outside and opened it up. phew! nastiness. since it was doing that I flushed it down the toilet because it was not safe to throw away or sprinkle on the lawn at that point. took quite a bit to clean out that pretzel barrel too, bummer. most of that stuff had come from very old surplus ammo like 7.65 argentine from the 1920s that wouldn't go bang no matter how many times you struck the primer and i'm sure the stuff had been wet at some point in it's life. anyhow, lesson learned, just get rid of it.
